The Delicate Topic of Aliens

For years, I have gone back and forth with my belief of life on other planets. Most people believe in aliens based on personal experience or what they want to believe. Do I believe in aliens? For the moment, yes.

I don’t believe people who say they’ve been abducted. The reason I believe that there is life on other planets in based almost exclusively on the testimony of former employees of people in NASA, the Air Force, the Navy, and other groups that often look to the sky. And since we all know how secretive the government can be, it’s easy to assume that this kind of thing could be hidden.

You don’t hear about this in the mainstream media. Most people count on the television for their information. Everything you see on TV is filtered. Things that get good ratings go on and the other stuff is scrapped. One of my favorite quotes is “Television isn’t truth! Television’s a goddamn amusement park!” We focus on celebrities and other crap that doesn’t matter. If you want to dig deeper, you have to go to documentaries. But I digress.

So many people report UFOs and alien sightings. Is it wise to dismiss them all so quickly? If just one of those people saw an actual alien or UFO and it was publicly acknowledged, then humanity would be forever changed. Another thing to note is that the universe is a lot older than we are. It’s stupid to think that we’re the top dogs in the universe or that we understand the universe.

Go do some research for yourself and see what you think.
